About Yehuda
Yehuda Duenyas is a Los Angeles–based Intimacy Coordinator for film, television, new media, and live performance. He partners with directors, producers, and actors to stage and choreograph intimate content, translating script into clear, repeatable action that protects performer boundaries while serving camera, story, and tone.
With over 15 years working both above and below the line, Yehuda brings unusual production fluency to intimate storytelling: a director’s eye for coverage, a movement-driven understanding of choreography, and a systems mindset built for real-world set pace. He is SAG-AFTRA registered and has supported projects across major studios and streamers, including “The Land” (20th Television), “I Want Your Sex” (Black Bear), “I Love LA” (HBO), “Westworld” Season 4 (HBO), “The Afterparty” Season 2 (Sony/Apple TV+), “MONSTER: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” (Ryan Murphy/Netflix), and “American Gigolo” (Paramount+/Showtime).
Yehuda is known as a director-forward collaborator and actor-centered advocate, someone who can hold creative ambition and safety at the same time. His practice is grounded in cultural fluency, with a long-standing commitment to LGBTQIA+ representation and to building processes that support bold work without chaos. He works closely with ADs, wardrobe, hair/makeup, stunts, and production leadership to keep communication clean and confidential, and to ensure departments can execute consistently from rehearsal through wrap.
The goal is simple: make brave work safer, and safe work braver. Yehuda creates conditions where performers know what’s expected, what’s off-limits, and what will be repeated on camera; where directors have options that land emotionally and photograph with intention; and where production can move efficiently because the plan is clear.
Yehuda specializes in choreography for nudity, simulated sex, queer intimacy, kink, power dynamics, group dynamics, sexualized violence, and experimental storytelling. His work is stylistically versatile across genres, from grounded drama to horror, thriller, comedy, sci-fi, and romance, as well as motion capture and VFX-heavy environments where clarity and repeatability are essential.
In 2022, Yehuda co-founded CINTIMA, a SAG-AFTRA–accredited training organization advancing the next generation of intimacy professionals through a lens of equity, artistry, and cultural fluency.
Yehuda’s work and collaborations have received a Primetime Emmy Award, 2 Webbys, 8 Cannes Lions, 11 Clios, 2 Facebook Awards, and an Obie Award.
Intimacy for performance credits include Faye Driscoll’s Weathering (NY Live Arts; The Blackwood, Toronto), The Beautiful People (Rogue Machine, LA), and Thomas Bradshaw’s Fulfillment (The Flea, NYC; ATC, Chicago).
Yehuda is also a Primetime Emmy Award–winning experiential director focused on immersive new media, storytelling, and technology, with clients including Intel, Spotify, Netflix, Google, YouTube, Walt Disney Imagineering, Comcast, HBO, Showtime, and MGM/UA, and projects for properties and brands such as Game of Thrones, Billions, Audi, JetBlue, Dixie, and Cathay Pacific. He holds an MFA in Integrated Electronic Arts from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BA in Theater (cum laude) from Skidmore College.
